there are posts!!

hip hip hooray!! I love you girlies, your posts make my day :) It was super exciting to get on the blog and read so much new news today...I miss you girls. It's kinda crazy that two weeks have gone by since I saw you last...whew, time flies overall. Sometimes there are moments when it seems to creep by, and I kinda wonder why so much of every day is exactly the same, but then I realize that weeks have gone by. Strange.
It's been a busy two weeks though, and the weekends are cut as short as they could possibly be...today I had ballet class in the morning and a two hour rehearsal in the afternoon, so most of the day was taken up. I had a good talk with my mom in the car on the way home, she's so insightful and helps me find my footing when I've taken a spill. Yup, sometimes people are so frustrating...but then other times they do what nothing else could do. I want to see you girls again soon...
Hey, Kate, I know you're probably out of the country now (or soon perhaps) but I wish I could take you to my chem class! We have a really passionate, well-informed teacher, and the things we do are so interesting...sure, some of the units involve a lot of calculating and stuff, but she somehow makes it all purposeful, we always do a lab or activity that uses what we learn. Mind you, her tests are, ummm, brutal...had one yesterday :( I studied so, so hard for it, and I knew everything on it, and I ran out of time...I was really scribbling like mad the whole way through, and I just had to punch in the last equation and press enter on my calculator - no extra time, not even a minute...it makes me really sad when so much effort is negated for a darned clock hand. We really do live by the tyranny of the clock. There's a good essay that goes by the title...worth the read definitely.
Well, I'm supposed to be working on my biology presentation for Monday, it's a big one, interesting but a heck of a lot of work. Research, I have to know everything remotely relating to it, but then I have to simplify it wayyyy down and create a powerpoint, handout, glossary, full reference page, activity....save me nowwww!
Okay, I'm getting on it. Pronto. Prontissimo...yeah, going now.
