This is the last day of 2010!!!!
I'll be singing at City Hall from 10-12 tonight, and ringing in the new year on stage.
I'm kind of super excited.
Then after I'm going to have some major Katlin/Savannah time :)
I'm glad we started this blog this year, and I hope we continue to use it.
And Savannah actually properly starts....
2010 was full of so many memories and adventures, I hope 2011 is just as exciting, unexpected and wonderful.
I love you girls.
To now and forever.

grey nail polish
My nails are painted grey now :)
It's so satisfying. I've wanted matte grey nail polish for so long. And now I have it, and it's exactly right.
I'm also chilling out in my new black hoodie that I've wanted/needed for the longest time.
Thank you Christmas for finally getting here so that I could get all those things that I picked out and my mom insisted that I had to wait for.
I'm put some songs on MO's old ipod, and now I'm just enjoying listening to tunes, new and old.
It's been I while since I've really listened to anything... and it's nice.
This is a good evening.. I forgot how nice relaxing with a purpose is.
I'm adding some pictures to my other blog, and I decided I would write you girls something while I was waiting for them to load.
Having a journal back makes me feel so happy.
To be honest, I really missed them.
Maya, I think you should be prepared to pass on another journal with yours once you get in.
After the rotation at the end of January it'll be back in your hands, and i think you should find another journal to send around, it's getting full :)
p.s. If you girls have any song suggestions, I would appreciate them :) I'm trying to expand my music spectrum. Plus I still have my itunes gift card to use....

YES
I'm totally up for tomorrow.
(Maya, I approve of your Christmas colouration)
The rest of the day was just as fun :)
The kids were so good, I still can't get over it.
Monika, you forgot your undies, and the journal!
(Katlin, why didn't you text her!!!!!!!!! lol. I'm blaming you my dear :P)
I hope we can squeeze in some more quality sistar time before everyone goes back to life(and I still have an extra week off of math... not trying to rub it in or anything...)
Our advent candles are almlost completely burnt out.
3 have been burnt down to nothing, and one is getting pretty darn close.
The last candle, that we lit this morning, is more than half gone too.
We figure it's the big day, might as well go all out.
When else are we going to be using them anyway?
I always thought that candles lasted forever.
Apparently that's less true than I thought.
I'm planning on watching Fame tonight :)
It's basically tradition that we always get at least one movie at Christmas.
Which is good, since we never buy them otherwise.
So our collection is slowly growing from year to year :P
Our turkey dinner was SO yummy.
Except for the mashed potatoes.
I don't know what was up with those. But they were pretty gross...
I WANT TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN SOON!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas my loves.
I hope you all had a great day too.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
It's the big day girls!!!
(or the day after for Katlin)
The day has actually been fabulous so far.
Everything Christmas should be, and probably more.
The Kids have been good as gold.
Taja's been very thankful, which is quite a change from last year.
Last night we had our traditional Christmas Eve eating party with all our friends who make the best food(besides you girls and your moms, of course).
Mo was there, and Viola too.
We went tobogganing, and used those ice lamps we made the other day.
We also decorated our neighbours tree out back with garlands of pop corn, dried fruit, and raisins for the animals.
It was such a great evening!
I feel so warm and happy right now.
Micah and I are cuddled up in my bowl chair in my room.
Him on his DS and me typing away to you.
Every so often he hands me the game to get him out of a tough predicament.
Taja and I watched Alice in Wonderland(the new one) and then we painted our nails.
Dad got back from work not too long ago, and we'll be opening the rest of the presents.
There is still a healthy sized pile underneath the tree.
Turkey dinner with all the trimmings is being cooked as we speak.
I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!!
p.s. Katlin, I have my Elliot CD now, but haven't gotten a chance to listen to it yet. We will be having that ranting sessions soon!

gotta love homework... not.
Welcome to Katlin's Procrastination Posts, episode #1.
I'm writing an essay for C&C on North America as an overmedicated society. Or at least that's what I told my mom I'm doing. Actually, I'm watching a video about frog hunting;)
But really, today was Christmas morning for my family. WHY AM I WRITING AN ESSAY?!
Krista's not coming over for Christmas, so it'll just be me and Derek... Darn, I almost think we'd hang out MORE if i was the 3rd wheel haha. Because she actually tries to include me.. Oh well. Me and Ty can chill:)
I guess that'll also give me more time to work on my essay... Gah, this is killing me. It's HOLIDAYS.
Plus, I haven't seen you girls nearly enough, and I haven't hung out with anyone from gym, Kristy, Gavin, people from school... There's just not enough time:(
Anyways, I think I'm gonna go make some salad (more procrastinating) since I've eaten way too many cookies and chocolate orange today:P
I'm sure I'll be back soon!

sushi and love
Seeing you girls today was absolutely fabulous.
I've missed you so much and this extra dose of sistarness was just what I needed.
It was fun that Jala and Ganesha could join us.
It was good times.
That was SO much food.
lol.
For real.
We're pigs.
I love it.
Thanks Kate for coming back with me and sticking it out through the terror of it all :P
For you other girls, wondering what I'm talking about, let's just say that bed time can be scary.
At least Jadon went off to bed with absolutely no fuss.
He's the perfect child.
At least most of the time anyway.

Santa is coming to town!!!
Yesterday we headed off to the mall for a visit with Santa.
Yesterday was one of those everything days.
For about 89% of the day Taja was a monster, and Micah was completely perfect for the entire day.
I mean, how many kids would be able to stay postive and not start crying when he's inbetween a 6-year-old screaming at him and a baby crying at the top of his lungs?
Taja fussed through the whole Santa thing too.
And then after my flute lesson we were going to get thai noodles, we drove all through town, but the resturant was closed.
Which actually really sucks because Micah was the one who wanted noodles, but Taja fussed and said that she did, she wanted to eat something that mom made.
Poor little boy was having a rough time, but was perfect all the way through it.
I was so angry by the end of the day.
Taja just kept getting everything she wanted, and even when she fussed she still got to do nice things(and she fussed A LOT!!!)
And Micah, didn't fuss at all, but he didn't get to do anything he wanted.
He was really tired before supper, so he had a nap.
Then when he woke up he got to stay up late, so I decided it was time that he got to do something nice.
We played down stairs for a while.
Then we shared a candy cane and read some books.
This inspired us to make chocolate chip candy cane cookies.
Then after all our cookies were baked we went back down stairs and played 'donkeys'.
Hahaha. It was just like old times. You know, when we used to play that we were wolves or monkeys....
but now we play donkey's, since donkey's are Micah's favourite animal.
We also played some other random stuff, and just basically had a ball.
So yeah.
My evening with Micah was amazing!!!
Oh, I'm sick. And it sucks.
I've been coughing SO much and it's driving me crazy.
I didn't sleep well at all last night.
I'm also terrified that my voice is ruined forever.
That's a very scary thing, and I'm trying not to freak out about that too much.
It could just be the whole cold thing that's messing me up right now.
But I'm frightened that it might be more....
so yeah.
My life is everything right now.
I really just want to go to the movies, or go shopping, or just hang out with you girls.
Let's just say, Christmas holiday's can't come any faster.

come on it's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together
Today was the annual Christmas tree hunt with my dad and bro :D We're such a cute team(L) Our house smells amazing now, and we're just waiting for the branches to settle so we can decorate!! Yay, my favourite!
I'm in a very good mood now, due to the Christmas-y atmosphere and the fact that Debbie came down to visit. I love her so much, because I know I can always count on her for anything. Seriously, if I asked her to bring me home the moon, she'd find a way. She's the closest thing I've got to a second mom <3
I feel like the whole Christmas spirit is finally sinking in for me... I'm remembering why this time of year makes me so happy. Life has been so stressful/sad/crazy ever since I retired, and I honestly didn't think I'd ever be the same. I'm glad it's finally coming back to me...
Oh, on another note.. The Glee version of Baby It's Cold Outside is soo cute (with Kurt and his soon-to-be bf)!

BEAUTIES!!!!
hello there, I hope December is treating you well so far. I'm actually in a bit of a time warp right now, I have lost all sense of time...gahhhh!
So this week has been kinda ridunkulous, our schedule has been turned inside out and upside down, and the result is...majorly bruised toenail (yeowch!) and a sore body plus a tired, tired mind. But, right now, I'm on over-tired mode! And that means, hyper time!!! woot woot :P
We had our student council-held "Winter WOnderland" event tonight. Basically we spent the last two nights baking cupcakes, icing them, baking brownies, making rice krispies, popping popcorn and making hot chocolate which were given and sold to the younger students whilst playing the film "The Polar Express." Prime, I must say. Hope you agree ;)
We finally FINALLY had modern class today!!!! It was the best thing all week :) :) :) :) :) :) I love it, it is truly amazing how dance can make one feel...to be honest, I hadn't really felt that way for several weeks. Incidentally, we hadn't had modern class for several weeks either...hmmm, coincidence?
I love you girls SOOOO MUCH and we need need need to get together uber soon. Kay?
I want to write more, but it's after 11 and I have ballet class tomorrow bright 'n' early, so ta ta for now.
cheerio, pip pip, toodaloo and all that

Hey My Girlies,
So I though my life was settling down after the craziness of last weekend. Haha. That's a joke if I ever heard one.
I had recording for the itunes single with glee yesterday, as well as a choir rehearsal with the phil.
Tonight I have a dress rehearsal for MYS.
Tomorrow I have glee in the morning, then we go and sing at city hall for a kitchener rangers thing. After that I have to head over to WPL for a carol sing-a-long with the phil.
And then on Sunday I have the big concert with all three of the 'menno' choirs (the children, mine, and the adult choir).
I think I've decided that I want to do phil again next season(as in september 2011).
There are big plans!!!!!
The plan is that we will tour next June!!!!!!!(in 1212...)
so yeah. that's kind of really exciting.
And I don't mean like touring to niagra falls or anything, I mean, EUROPE!!!!!!!
Like some of the possibilties are Austria, Rome.... and she listed several other exciting places that might be apart of it.
That would be SOOOOOO amazing.
We'd get to sing in some of the most spectactular churches in the world. The sound would be INCREDIBLE.
Basically, we'd just sing, and do a LOT of sight seeing.
I'm sososososo excitied about that now. It had better happen.
Just thinking about that makes me so happy.
Plus, Amanda B, our choir director, would be wonderful to travel with. She is so nice and genuine. Also, she is so enthusiastic about this endevouu, it could be nothing but wonderful.
She would also know alot about where we were going, and she would make sure we learned a lot, but she has a great way of making it fun and casual.
Personally I think she should homeschool her kids, but she likes having her own time to much.... she says it wouldn't work. But I think it would. Her 4-year-old son is really smart and she loves her kids so much. She's always talking about how amazing being a mom is.
But I guess, being a professional and having a job and career are just as important to her too.
Glee last sunday was SO much fun.
Well,it got fun during the show. Dress rehearsal was... not fun.
But yeah, after last weekend(which was craziness) I woke up on Monday with absolutly no voice.
It was awful.
I'm slowly getting better and I'm almost at 100%, but not quite...
I barely even looked at my math over the past week and a half, and I have an assignment to hand in today.
I worked on it last night, and a bit today, and now I only have 2 questions left.
I hope I do alright on it. It's triangles.... so it's not too bad, but still.
I haven't done any practice questions or anything... so we'll see how it goes.
Right now the house is over run with small homeschoolers.
We are expecting 8 moms, and that means they'll be close to 20 kids here. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Yeah. What else can I tell you?
I'm reading a really good book right now! :)
It's one of those books that it so luxurous that you get totally lost in the world of the story. It's the first of a serise that is a prequal to another serise that I really liked.
To tell you the truth, I'm liking this book better than the original serise.
I'm a sucker for historical fiction, and this story is set in 1870's. AND it's not just fiction, it's full out urban fantasy! IN HISTORICAL ENGLAND!!!!!
so yeah. Basically it's just the best of everything... plus there are some really attractive male protagonists. need I say more?
;)
It had better happen.

no pants december
I invite you all to join me on this epic adventure of fronzen proportions.
So I(and several other girls from the cast of R+J and beyond) have declared December No-Pants Month.
It's like no shave november, except it's for girls and is less gross and awkward.
So yeah, from here on it I'm going to TRY and wear nothing but skirts and dress(tights are allowed, and encouraged. Frost bite is not cool).
There's even a facebook event(which means it legit :P)
http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=136215239767774
so if you are crazy enough/want to change up your wardrobe a bit, I encourage you to join in :)
On another note.... I haven't seen the new Harry Potter movie yet!?!?!?!? WHAT IS THIS!!!!!
That has to change, and who ever is willing to take me, I except your offer :)
Also, has anyone else realized that there are only 21 more days until Christmas(20 if you're Katlin...)
