toronto+more halloween

U of T visit with my dad yesterday! It was awesome:)

Reasons I think that place is for me:
1. They have a rock climbing team.
2. Engineering Science would be hard, but that program is one of U of T's specialties, and I can pretty much do whatever I want for grad school after that (MIT, Cambridge, etc.) so I think it would be rewarding and worth it in the end. Plus, its for students who want a challenge... I've been challenging myself for the last ten years lol. I've got this:)
3. The residences seem nice, although I'm biased bc Caitlin was my tour guide :P
4. The residence food was AWESOME! Yay stir-fried veggies and hummus wraps, I could totally live off that haha.
5. The athletic facility was GORGEOUS, and it includes a gymnastics room :P And a big beautiful pool, right across the street from the residence I want.
6. Campus is amazing. I love the architecture SO much.
7. I could see MO more!!!! <3

Then when I got home it was Halloween party time :D Alex was sooooo cute, he decorated his basement SO intensely with a fog machine and red tinted lights and spider webs, and we played "pass the gourd" and bobbed for apples lol. And there was two tables full of awesome food, so that was pretty great too :P
Hard to believe that a year ago, looking around that room I wouldn't have known any of the people there. And a month ago I still wouldn't have known around half of them. Things change so fast, but I love it :)
My mom was so cute lol.
Mom: "Are you bringing any candy?"
Me: "Nope."
Mom: "Oh... Just your vodka bottle?;)"
Me: "Awks... No... Its Alex and Meagan mom..."
Mom: "This is why I love your friends."
I laughed. Out loud. Lol.

Halloween!

Halloween Dance was last night at school... Good times :)
I sorta ditched the whole werewolf idea when I found this AWESOME dress at Talize, and boots to match... So I was a super villain instead :P And can I just say... I looked pretty great ;)
This morning we were talking about the best costumes, and right at the top of the list John said he really liked my costume :D I feel like that was the best compliment I could have gotten :):):)

The whole night was so awesome. I went to Jen's for dinner and to get ready, and we teased our hair massively and ate fried onions lol. Her paperbag princess outfit was so cute, and her mismatched shoes made it even more awesome. Also, at the dance there was a photobooth which was SO great!!

Except the costumes totally reminded me of Mean Girls lol. Like, EVERYONE was dressed soooo slutty... and then theres Jen in a leaf bag and me in a floor length dress :P And all around us are cats, devils and french maids wearing fishnets and shirts that aren't long enough for them. Good times though hahahaha.

Anyways... English essay calls me. More about Halloween later :)

ghosts and ghouls

I'm pretty excited about this coming Halloween Weekend!!!! :D

I bought all of the extra pieces for my costume last night, and started painting and designing.
Now I just have to get the glue gun out....

I have the CLC Halloween Party(kinda super stoked for that) tomorrow. Then choir rehearsal/party the next evening. And hopefully I can get dressed up for the Monday too.
Katlin: what are you doing Monday evening at like 6-7:15? I know you eventually going out wtih FTC... but if you have time before hand. I think the kids and I are tick-or-treating in your neighbourhood, cause ours sucks. A lot.
Like 1 out of every 6 houses gives out candy. If even that many...

I had better get back to my math assignment.
I'm actually pretty on track with that this week :D

Midnight Cake :D

So.I have the best housemates in the world
They baked me a surprise heartshaped cake and came into my room singing at midnight :) It was difficult to blow out those candles!
They're such sweethearts lol<3
Then we all had cake and talked ^_^
Thenn Andy surprised me with about a million presents lol
Jeezaloo he really went all out- some of the collection includes lacoste socks, robot earrings, a foamer for lattes, and, best of all... A JESUS PEN!!!
Also, a lovely letter arrived in the mail today from rachel<3 Thanks girlie! it's going on my wall xD
And i got a package from my mummy ^_^ A box fullllll of candyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!! All my favourites!
Later today, im going to the ROM with andy--- free admission for u of t students on tuesdays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woot woot!

it's not sunny anymore

Hey Lovelies.

Summer has really gone. I only have 3 pages left in my Summer Journal, so it must be true.

I'm trying my best to procrastinate on a Math assignment that is due tomorrow... but I haven't even started yet. So yeah. I should probably fix that :S

But I'm not planning on it... so I'll just write to you girls insted.

My life is starting to be interesting again, and I'm LOVING it!!!!! SO MUCH.
Jurors is so fun right now. YET is great and I feel like what we are doing is helping to open me up and helping me to embrace the wackyness and insanity of acting. I'm SO excited about Phil. We are sounding GREAT. The concert on the 29th is going to be awesome(if you can come please DO. it will be great. I would go just to hear the adult choir, but I'll be singing too, so ya. Double bonus).
I'm for sure in the Messiah(maybe I already posted about this... I forget:P).
And I'm singing in Charles Dickens Writes a Christmas Carol, as well as reading again.
I got an e-mail this morning asking if I wanted to be in it and read the same roles as last year. And obvi I do! And BONUS it counts towards my mandetory volunteering hours for YET. WOOOOO.
Basically things are great right now.
Except I'm kinda sick, which it yucky;.


I had an AMAZING voice lesson on Friday. It just felt SOOOO goood to see the improvements. Get really good feed back, and hear that I sound so much better on pieces I've worked on before. It's just nice when the improvement is OBVIOUS. Cause there is always improvement in everything. Just now I'm actually able to see it:)

Also, I'm feeling really good about piano right now. I'm playing pieces I LOVE, and I'm good at them.
Learning something new and mastering it, never gets old. It always feels good.

Ya. So my life has been pretty great lately. And later today, I get to see KATLIN!!! WOOOOOO :D

TGIF

This week was insane. It felt SO long, even though it was only 4 days.... Thanksgiving seems like a lifetime ago lol.

I had 2 presentations, calculus and bio tests, and my Loran application has to get mailed tonight. So needless to say, things got a little crazy academically. My bio test ended up being easy though, so I'm hoping I got a nice high mark to show for that hard work. And I know I got an 86% in calculus, so at least I'm improving... Blah, that course is so frustrating.

Today it seemed to take FOREVER to figure out all the scholarship stuff. My counselor was away and I needed a signature, the guidance person who did it for me didn't know me well enough to do the little write-up that goes with it, so now I have to do it (which is awkward because it's ABOUT me) and they had to decide which applicants got to be sponsored. Yay stress. No one seemed to comprehend how much work I put into it, and how it needed to be mailed TODAY. Ugh. At least its (almost) done now...

Wednesday was a good day :) After school, Ali and I went to Starbucks and then to pick up Em for ROCK CLIMBING! :D It was SO nice to hang out with them for the night, doing something that we were all pretty good at, and cheering each other on like old times. I completely forgot how much I've missed the "COME ON ALI! YOU CAN DO IT!" and how supportive those girls are of me. Sometimes I forget how much they actually care about me, and it was so nice to be reminded <3 I also realised that no matter how much Ali and I have drifted, she STILL knows me better than almost anyone else in the world. Crazy, right? But that realisation made me believe even more in the power of family <3 :)

Also I got to catch up with Joy a bit that night at coaches training, so that was nice. :)
I vented about coaching, and she told me about her boyfriend Trever and it was just...good lol.
I miss that girl. And all of us together all the time.

I DID SHOOTOVERS AGAIN! They were a lot of fun lol. I was SO happy I could still do them ahahaha. But I'm sore all over... Ribs when I breathe, my butt, inner quads, and shoulders obviously. But it feels good too :)

Thanksgiving Climbing

gahhhhhhh that was just plain swell seeing you girlies today :). What isn't swell is that I haven't blogged in...well let's just say I had a time of it remembering my password for my blogging account when I decided to log in a bit ago :P baaaaaad sign. And then the site froze for a few minutes to pay me back for my terrible neglect. I hope we're even now and that my post actually goes through. If you're reading this then cheer once loudly or twice moderately loudly to show your appreciation for the blog cooperating. HUZZAH! haha, I just realized that I first heard that word at the Medieval Festival many a year ago across the hill not so far away...
So, in short, other than mo being sick (I'm so sad and MAD at that dang bug you've got m'dear) and penny's phone being out of battery, our get-together was simply marvelous :) haha...KETCHUP. ooooo, I'm drinking tea right now...think I should be adventurous? I'm already being adventurous by mixing ginger and pomegranate teas...nahhh, I'll save the red wonder-sauce for another time. Look out next time I offer you tea :P
Sooooo, nice bikeride, epic hangout, yummiest double breakfast ever, superb sprinkles, swim, homework, and then everything spiraled down into quite the heated argument about...a red pepper. "Excuse me?" Yeah, that's what I said too ;)
man oh man, I didn't think that poor pepper was going to MAKE it...all of that smoke coming out of everybody's ears was sure to singe it good. I think the internet is not worthy of this story...bahaha, it would've been funny if it didn't affect people I live with.

THANKSGIVING GOODNESS!!!

This weekend is going to be SO much fun :)

I'm having some people over tomorrow night(you girls are welcome to come over too if you can! there will be icecream, toppings, hopefully a bon-fire and other yummy stuff!!!! LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN!!!!)

And then I'm seeing you people Saturday morning. Eating yummy potluck food Saturday at dinner, then TURKEY dinner on sunday with the Fam Jam :)

And then some sort of sleepover Monday-Sunday with a undetermined individual.

I won't be lonely at all for the next few days at least :)


:O jurors starts this coming week!!! speaking of which, I should start memorising.

weekends like these should never end

When did I finally start having a social life guys? And how do I make this wonderful thing stay forever?
I know this is probably terrible timing since I really need to focus on school this year, but I honestly just want to see my friends and pretend summer never left us. I want to put homework and sleep off and play Rockband and go climbing and have gym sleepovers and epic sunday parties (with Rachel of course!) and full contact twister with people I just met. I want having fun to be my top priority and seeing friends to happen every day.
I want to keep getting dressed up and eating Bangkok Cuisine with Jen (you know your friends are awesome when they can handle spicy food :P). And driving around and plotting about boys even though we're both losers on that department lol.
And having gym sleepovers with the girls I grew up with, because I miss them SO much. Going on late night adventures and seeing this person who looked EXACTLY like Voldemort at McDonalds when we went to get ice cream... Lol. Trampoline in the rain until your feet are numb, and staying up just talking, because you feel SO at home with them in bed next to you. <3
And going to sweet sixteen birthdays that are more like 13th birthdays but are awesome anyways :D With epic chocolate fountains and playing full contact twister (it gets suuuper violent aha) and Rockband but with everyone singing because the person who's actually supposed to doesn't know the words :P And opening presents that consist of chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. Pretty fricken awesome :)
Car rides with the person Mr. Court thinks I'm dating... Lol.
Guys I love life, but it doesn't have time for this thing called SCHOOL...
