i love rehearsal.

Today was SO MUCH FUN!!!!
I LOVE rehearsals.... and rehearsals WITH potlucks are even better :D
SOOOO much GOOD FOOD! And lots of stuff I could actually eat.
John made Quinoa, it was SO yummy. lol. he makes good food :P

We worked on some trio choreo stuff. It was SO much fun :D
I really feel like I should do more dancing... or something. Cause I could actually be pretty good, if I had some proper training. :P
Not as good as my pro friends ;) but pretty good, in my own way.
Like, I'm the one Rachelle says to look at other people don't get it(and if our dance captain isn't in the room). And I feel like I catch on pretty fast.
Mind you, most of what we are doing is pretty basic, but I feel like I could handle some harder stuff and still be okay.
I dunno. I'm a singer... but having the option of being a chorus person wouldn't hurt either. I'm torn though :P most people who end up always getting leads, don't have any dance experience(other than the other shows they've been in) and when you are someone who sings AND dances... you are more likely to get cast as chorus, even if you have just as good of voice as the person with no dance experience who ends up with the lead.
I don't know if that makes sense to you... but it's true.
I'm feeling pretty good about our 'dancers' though. Sometimes in a cast, the dancers are... how can a put this nicely... REALLY FULL OF THEMSELVES.
I get that they're talented. I also respect that they are great dancers, but sometimes you get dancers who think they are WAY better than the chorus singing people. When really, the dancers can't sing very well at all.
So sure, the dancers are great at dancing, but really, they can't think of themselves as 'better' because... they aren't really. They are just better at something than the other people are... but the other people can sing better then them... so it all evens out.
I don't know if that make sense either :P

But regardless. The 'dancers' in Aida, half of them aren't even really trained :P but yeah. They all seem really down to earth, and no one has put themselves on a pedestal, yet ;)

Like you have no idea. I've never looked forward to a show this much.
