monologue

I'm actually so pleased with how it went :D
I didn't stumble over any of my words. I never blanked out. Sure, I don't really like how the lights blind you. But I DO like staring out into the audience, DARING them to listen to what I have to say.
I like to think they were at least a little surprised at what I can do:)
Everyone told me I did a good job. And sure, they could be lying. But Ms. Main even said I did an awesome job, to me and to my dad. And I got a high level 4+. So that has to mean something:)
I just love love LOVED being up on stage, PERFORMING again. I miss that about competing. That feeling of everyones eyes on you, and you can just show everything you've got.
You throw this little piece of you out there, and its like for once, people actually SEE you. For what you ARE.
Also, Ms. Main was talking to me about directing the final production, and basically told me I've got the job :D
Drama is working out better than I thought it would <3
