I feel about a thousand times saner after running today. I completely believe that exercise makes you happier and healthier mentally. Today was 100% proof of that:)
I was in a super emo kind of mood, and feeling just generally not good enough. But I'm alright now.
I seriously didn't want to go to track today, because I all I wanted was to go home and take a nap. Plus it was raining, so my options were a) do indoor track training (blehhh I hate this) and walk home and get soaked or b) get a ride home with my dad and take a nap. Option b) was looking pretty tempting haha.
BUT luckily because I go with Meagan, I didn't want to ditch her so I went. And really, we didn't work that hard :P But I'm still super glad I did a bit.
And the rain on the way home was good, it cooled me off:)
I'd reeeeeeally like some nicer weather though. Track inside SUCKS. Like, sure, I'd LOVE to run laps around the corridors, do jumping drills(I'm not a high jumper so...), pointlessly work on starts (I'm not competing so...), or do super easy ab workouts. Or run stairs if the teachers are feeling mean lol. So much fun:S
Plus, when we're inside I feel like no one goes full out or even attempts to do the workload. Outside they HAVE to, because the teachers can watch them all the way around the track. But inside they can fake it.
I just want to be outside in the fresh air, get some sun on my face, and actually feel like I'm WORKING OUT. Lol.
Anyways... Today started off sucky, but track made it kinda better:)
