manhattan roof top wedding

New York was fun :D
*side note* my parents are old, and make me so angry like 88.99% of the time. Like actually. I'm at the point where I see the holes in their parenting, and it makes me mad.


Anyway. If you took those two out of my week entirely, it would have been the best 5 days ever! :)
There was SOOOOO much awesome indian food prepared by all my lovely aunts.
I got to see some of m cousins I hadn't seen since I was 9.
They are so.... GROWN UP AND HANDSOM!!!!
I mean wow.
I feel like I missed so much. They aren't the little boys I used to play with. I hardly know them, and it makes me sad and angry.
Also the fact that I missed so much with everybody.
Kamela is MARRIED NOW!!! I mean, she's left the home she's lived in for almost 34 years.
Now when I go back everything will be different.

Kamela got married on a roof top in Manhattan, and behind them you could see the empire state building in all its glowing glory!
The wedding was AWESOME!!!!!!
The ceremony was on the roof. It had rained all day, but let up and was beatiful for the 30 minutes the wedding took, and then started again after everyone went back down to the loft.
The reception was in a loft on the 3rd floor.
There were all sorts of artsy statues and art. It was AWESOME!!!! :D
The music was great. They only played 2 slow songs at the very beginning of the night, and that was okay cause they had this Bob Marley type guy with the dreads and everything, who they had found playing in th esubway or something :P lol. I don't actually know... there was some sort of exciting story of where they found him that I didn't quite catch.
But after that ALL the music was fun and fast and perfect to dance to(Katlin, you would have loved it) ;)
They had lots of latin sounding stuff.

IT WAS SOOOO FUN!!!!! We started dancing around 8ish and I didn't stop until 1am :P
It was a good party! The kids had a great time, the adults had a great time, I HAD A GREAT TIME!!!! :D

Also my dress was super cute :)


I'll get some pictures up somewhere... eventually :P

We went to the states and didn't buy anything.
Yup, we went and the only thing I got was a virus on my computer :S
Right now the dumb thing is in getting fixed.
So here I am, at the trusty library.
Once again.

OOOOOOH!!!!!! i'm planning on going to New York this summer!!!! by myself! :D
Nothing is in stone, but I might fly there, and then stay with whoever will have me.
It's going to be awesome.
And I may be taking someone with me :D :D :D :D
So yeah.
Those of you will summer plans, are missing out. Just sayn' :P

If this actually becomes a thing I will be SOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!
I'll be needing someone to come exploring with me :)
