first week back(or not)

I hope you all are enjoying your first week back at, whatever it happens to be you're doing this year.

I've actually been enjoying it quite a bit myself. I spent 5 hours at the park yesterday with the 'not back to school picnic', and I got to go out for sushi with my dad today.

I've been productive too... my room no longer exists, that's a start. My dad is currently ripping out the carpet and all the paneling on the walls. So right now my basement is a big hot mess.
All my worldly possessions are split between the play room and my parents room. It is physically impossible to see the back wall of the play room. You can barely take 3 steps in before being confronted by a wall of stuff (that's a good title for a novel... the wall of stuff).

I'll be sleeping in my parents room for the next month is a bit while we work on the basement. It's real cosy. All six of us a basically living upstairs for the next little while. I just hope we can all stay on eachothers' good sides.

I've read some science, and I'm on the prowl for a good Shakespeare monologue for my audition...

I'm  all signed up for my on-line course. We sent in my birth certificate in today, and sending a check soon.

I had a great time hanging with you girls at our indoor bon-fire(we missed you Maya, but I'm glad you're back in the country! or will be soon...). We have to hang out again soon, with ALL of us this time. I think we are over-due for some epic sistar sleepoverness. We have to make that happen.

I wish it wasn't so cold already! I want there to be a bit of summer left to enjoy....

In the next week and a bit I have choir to look forward too, 2 auditions,starting my on-line course, my first piano lesson with my new teacher, my first flute lesson back after my flute exam, the possibility of a new voice teacher(?),  and of course patiently awaiting a post from one of you.
