dance parties and lace cookies

Yesterday I had the honour of being a guest at a wedding with Rachel. The people getting married were somehow related to Dawna (I'm not quite sure exactly how:P) and her dad did the ceremony. I was the babysitter. But that was for about ten minutes with just Jadon. So mostly I was just a guest:)
At the reception, after dinner, they had dancing for the kids. Well, for everyone. But mostly it was just the kids up on the dance floor. And yes, we're kids;) It was so cute, Taja and Micah LOVED the chicken dance. And I got to dance with the cutest little girl ever (besides Taja)! We tried to convince the 10/11 year old boys to slow dance with us, but apparently they were too cool. Their loss.
Apart from Micah lifting up my dress and Jadon looking down the front, we had no wardrobe malfunctions. It was pretty casual. I felt super dressed up lol.
Then on the way home we had the awesome idea of a homeschooler dance party!! Woo!
We wanted to have a sleepover after the wedding, but it was kinda late so we're having one today!:D
Earlier I went to Rachel's house, and we baked a ton of cookies, some pretty and some...kinda not so much:P Basically I'd say our lace cookies were an epic fail. A tasty, sugary, fun to make fail, but still epic. Then we biked back here and Rachel's staying over:)

  1. Rachel: Won't my parents will be proud of me?:)
Katlin: No. They won't even notice.
